Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Lana is operated by Yusifli Labs, an independent software studio based in Baku, Azerbaijan. By creating an account or otherwise using Lana, you agree to these terms.

2. Lana is not a law firm

Lana is a research and drafting tool. We are not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice. Nothing produced by Lana — including the petition brief, exhibit binder, recommender letters, or scoreboard analysis — is legal advice or a substitute for it.

Every package Lana produces is delivered with the express instruction that you must engage a licensed immigration attorney to review and sign off on the petition before filing it with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

3. We do not file petitions

Lana does not submit Form I-140 or any other document to USCIS on your behalf. The petitioner (or their retained attorney) is solely responsible for filing, paying USCIS fees, and responding to any Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny, or other USCIS correspondence.

4. No guarantee of approval

EB-1A approval is at the sole discretion of USCIS adjudicators. Lana cannot and does not guarantee that any petition will be approved, that any specific evidence will be accepted, or that you will avoid a Request for Evidence. Past adjudication patterns are not a guarantee of future outcomes.

5. You own your data

The data you upload (CV, evidence files, notes, transcripts) remains yours. We process it solely to operate Lana for you, per our Privacy Policy. You may export or delete your data at any time.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree that:

  • The information you provide is truthful and not misrepresented.
  • You hold rights to any document you upload.
  • You will retain a licensed immigration attorney to review the Lana-produced package before filing it.
  • You will not file the package without independent legal review.
  • You will not use Lana to commit immigration fraud or misrepresent your qualifications to USCIS.

7. Service availability

We try to keep Lana available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, update the product, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect existing petitioners.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yusifli Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lana, including but not limited to: petition denial, RFE issuance, loss of priority date, immigration consequences, or delays in case adjudication. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the prior twelve months.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to abuse our infrastructure, or use Lana to commit immigration fraud.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where Yusifli Labs is established. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be heard in the courts of Baku.
